Plenty of Empties Part I

Last time I posted an empties was back in April so I have a ton of empties. The bag was so full I had no choice but to do empties. I will be splitting this up into a few parts. I am projecting probably 4 posts... Have I really been gone that long???

 Hair and Body

Suave Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo $3.00 - I mentioned this dry shampoo and how I use to be in love with it. Not anymore. I don't know if they reformulated it or I got a bad batch. It is very heavily scented and it leaves so much residue in your hair. I feel like I am spraying gunk into my roots. Maybe that is the keratin? I always need to wash it after I use this product. As for how well it works as a dry shampoo... it doesn't. Here is where I think I got a bad batch or they reformulated it. It does nothing to make my hair look less greasy. In fact it just looks like I over applied product. I still have another backup which I don't know if I would use.

Secret Flawless Renewal Completely Clean Antiperspirant/Deodorant $5.00-7.00 - This was okay. Not the best antiperspirant but it did the job. I have to be careful because it does leave streaks on your clothes if I am not careful.
Repurchase: No
Rating: Okay

The Body Shop Passion Fruit Body Butter - I love passion fruit anything. So I have been eyeing this body butter for the longest. I was not going to pay $20 for it. However when it went on sale (see post here) I was able to get my hands on it. I only use their body butters during the colder months because I don't like the sticky feeling during the warmer months. It isn't because it doesn't absorb well, more of its so long lasting if I happen to sweat... well its not a pleasant feeling.
Repurchase: Yes (If on sale)
Rating: Hurray

Bath and Body Works Honeysuckle Triple Moisture Body Cream - I love this scent and the body shops triple moisture body creams. They are thick and rich. The moisture level lasts till the next morning. If you find a scent you love, it will linger on your skin.
Repurchase: Yes (If on sale)
Rating: Hurray

Body Milk Edition Pink - I received this from the lovely Jacq. I absolutely love the scent of this. I lean towards fruity scents but something about this was very captivating. It wasn't the very moisturizing, I used it mostly for the scent.

Rating: Okay

The Skincare

Shiseido The Skincare Night Moisture Recharge - This was an okay product. I don't think it did anything particular for my skin. I didn't really like it. I mostly used it for my neck after a while. The packaging is beautiful. The white cap has a pearly iridescence, the bottle is a heavy glass bottle. This had the best pump I ever used in a product. I was able to get most of the product out, no scraping required.

Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel - I was recommended this when I went to a Sephora Master class on skincare. Sephora offer classes where they teach you about certain topics. There was one person there that was very knowledgeable. I never ask for help at Sephora anymore because I find their answers very rehearsed and I can tell when they just push for the popular items. However Marianne (I think that was her name) was very knowledgeable and she got along great. (She works at the Sephora in the Meat Packing District in NYC) Back to the product. I absolutely love this product. It says its a moisturizer but I find it more of a serum consistency. I used it day and night. Only downfall is I didn't realize I was finished with the product till it wouldn't pump anymore out. I hope to try other Boscia products soon.

Naruko Tea Tree Oil Out Night Gelly - Another wonderful gift from Jacq. I have always bee a fan of tea tree oil so I was ecstatic when I saw this. It is a very light gel type of night cream. I don't think it particularly did much for me. It wasn't moisturizing and my skin wasn't particular blemish free when I was using it. However the process was enjoyable. I will not be seeking this product out but it was nice while it lasted.

Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery Cream - My esthetician recommended this to me. I really did like the texture. It is lightweight and moisturizing. I like to use this as the final step to my night time routine. I already repurchased and using my second jar.

Makeup Forever HD Foundation #117 - I can't remember how old this foundation but it is pretty old... I finished about 60% of it but I think it is time to retire this.  I did like this foundation. Compared to the Smashbox HD this one is 10x better in my opinion. It has a satin finish and looks like skin. It photographs well. It has medium buildable coverage. You definitely have to work with it in order to cover up blemishes and concealer is a must. I normally need 2-3 pumps to do my whole face. I was only using this for special occasions which is why I never finished it. If you were looking for a good special occasion foundation I would recommend this. I might repurchase in the future but for now I want to try something new.
Repurchase: Maybe but I want to see what else is out there first....
Rating: Hurray!

Kevin BeautyMaker BB Cream - Another lovely gift from Jacq! This is a pink based BB cream. I used this as my everyday BB cream. It left my skin with a natural satin bordering on dewy finish. It had medium coverage. Though the lasting power on this wasn't great. It lasts about 4-5 hours and then I start to notice redness that I had originally covered up start peeking through. My face is about a shade darker than the rest of my body and when this is blended in it looks acceptable.
Repurchase:Yes!

L'Oreal True Match foundation in W2 - Another probably too old foundation. I received this from a friend of mine because it was the wrong coloring for her. For the longest time I thought it was way too light for me too. It would be if I was matching it to my face. Fortunately I eventually learned your suppose to match foundation to your neck in which case this was perfection! The only down side to this foundation is the longevity. It only lasts about 3-4 hours before you see significant patching (at least I notice it) around my nose. I used it more in the winter which increases its longevity. If L'Oreal ever reformulates it to make it longer lasting I would definitely repurchase.

Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On - I love this as much as I love the Lash Expander Frame Plus. It does everything I want a mascara to do. Lengthen, volumize, hold a curl like no other. A M A Z I N G! I am going to put this on rotation between Expander Frame Plus and this I am set!
Repurchase:Yes!
Rating: Holy Grail!

Majolica Majorca Lash King - I had this on my wish list and my friends family happened to be in Taiwan for the summer and her brother picked this up for me! I was sorely disappointed in this mascara. It does lengthen and volumize but it does nothing in the curl department.
Repurchase: No
Rating:Okay

Majolica Majorca Lash Bone Fiber In - I wanted this mascara primer to make my other failure mascaras work. This makes any mascara hold a curl and lengthen. I have to be very thorough when I used this and make sure the mascara I am using covers up the white base. It is very apparent white that can lead to an embarrassing conversation.....
 Repurchase:Yes!

MAC Liquid Last - I've gone through numerous of these little guys. My absolute holy grail eyeliner. It isn't for everyone. But if your main concern is your eyeliner smudging or wearing off then this is for you.
Repurchase:Yes!
Rating: Holy Grail!

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint in Pearl - Pretty sure this came from a BirchBox. it is old and needs to be tossed out. I remember it being very dewy and very shimmery. They are very fine shimmer but it when used all over your face it gives off a glistening sheen kind of like a pearl. Sounds lovely but not when it is happening on your face. The product is as described, I haven't used it as a primer but since this is suppose be a one step kind of product but I can see how it might work.
Repurchase: No
Rating: Nay

White Deco Nail Polish - I am not particular to any specific brand. This one did the job fine. I usually purchase whatever white detailed polish is available and affordable.
Repurchase: Yes but not specific to this brand
Rating:Hurray

Stila smudge stick waterproof eyeliner in peacock - Another Birchbox item. I used this liner a few times but I noticed the cap exploded. Probably expanded due to heat? No idea how that happened since it lives in a cool dry place. The pencil no longer twists up and dried out so in the trash it goes. From what I remember, the eyeliner doesn't smudge but i does fade and after a few hours on my lower lash line it sort of disappears. I won't be looking for any other liners in this line.
Repurchase: No
Rating: Nay

Duo Lash Glue - I haven't used any other lash glue and I don't wear lashes enough to say this is good or bad. I think its sort of a hassle because I cannot apply this straight from the tube without over applying too much glue. I didn't finish this but the product started to separate so in the trash it goes! I have my eye on the Revlon lash glue in the tube with a wand.
Repurchase: No (There are so many choices out there)

  3. For all our readers who rock grade school sizes, we have good news and bad news regarding the upcoming and highly anticipated release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred. The good news is that the shoe will release in your size. The Jordan 11 "72-10" bad news is that the quality of the shoe appears to be a bit subpar when comparing it to the adult-sized version. If you take a look at the images above you will see that both images are a pair of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred. If you take a closer look you will notice that the leathers used vary in texture and quality. The first image shows Cheap Jordans For Sale the GS version of the shoe. The leather sort of looks like the leather used on the 2013 version. The second pair shows the shoe in adult sizes, which shows the shoe using the more textured and premium leather that truly gives the shoe that remastered look. For all you GS-footers out there, is thing going to stop you from picking up a pair? Let us know in the Jordan 11 comments below.Be sure to check out our Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred (2016) hub page for latest images and information regarding this upcoming release.
Being a member of Jordan Brand has its perks, such as being able to have certain sneakers that nobody else in the world can get their hands on.Kawhi Leonard is one of the biggest names on the Jordan Brand team right now and he Cheap Jordans was recently spotted wearing one of the craziest Jordan retros ever. In the image above Leonard is seen wearing an all-gold colorway of the Air Jordan 12. The shoe feature a metallic gold upper with black accents and a translucent outsole. There’s no doubt that these are FIRE! Let’s not get too excited though because the possibility of these ever hitting retailers is probably very very slim. What are your Jordan shoes thoughts on this colorway of the Air Jordan 12?
