Out with the old and In with the New Part Trois

Part Trois of Out with the Old and In with the New!

For those unfamiliar with what is going on, this is a quarterly series about that gives me an excuse to finally throw out stuff I will never use in my collection and recognize I wasted my money on them.

Onto Part Trois!

Only Two items this quarter. I think that's a significant improvement!

NYX Makeup Remover & Cleansing Oil with Green Tea Extract. I admit the only reason I bought this was because of the Green Tea Extract. I hate this so very very much. It leaves my skin so oily. I tried using it as a make up remover and I think putting petroleum oil on my skin would be less greasy. I tried using it as a cleansing oil and it did nothing except make my face slick with oil. I need to scrub my face with a separate cleanser 2-3 times before I can get this off. I tried diluting it with water it didn't work. I tried looking up directions online (none was available on the bottle), I went as far as emailing NYX customer service on how to use this product and of course they never responded to me. This is a little green bottle of pain in the ass and I am glad it is going in the trash so I will never have to see it again.

Revlon ColorStay Powder. I have it in Light. The color works for me in the winter but it offers no coverage. The mirror in the packaging is small so it's not like I would keep it around just to use as a mirror. I tried to use it just on my nose if I was looking a tad shiny and it doesn't work that way either. I tried adding water to see if it would give me a higher coverage which was a total fail. To be  honest, I only bought this because it was on sale and I was curious about the ColorStay line.

Do you have any items you regret buying? Please let me know so I can avoid them!
