I have been studying at my friends house a few times a week and her sister recently came back from Taiwan with this scrumptious dessert!
It has a flakey exterior topped with sesame seeds. The dark red part is smooth dense red bean paste. It reminds me of the lotus bean paste like Chinese moon cakes. The center is a soft green tea mochi. The balance of crispy exterior, dense red bean and soft mochi was divine!!!
I love Taiwanese snacks and I hope to make more discoveries soon!!!
