Clinique Repairwear laser focus wrinkle & UV damage corrector Review

Phew! That was a long name! I got a deluxe sample of this from Sephora. I usually try and stay away from Clinique, I am allergic to many of their products however their range of products are so enticing!

When I saw this UV damage corrector I had to jump on this!

"Potent serum gives every skin a second chance against lines, wrinkles, sun damage. In 4 weeks, see obvious reduction in lines, wrinkles, improved texture. At 12 weeks, the visible wrinkle-reducing power is remarkably close to a dermatological laser procedure. 63%, to be exact. Different commitment, different results. And yet impressive results guaranteed."

This has a pleasant scent and a nice texture. It leaves your skin feeling tacky at first but sinks its fairly quickly. The full size is 1oz and this sample is .5 oz which i think is a pretty decent sample. hehe

Sounds pretty good so far? However this wonderful serum had a horrible reaction with my skin.

I included a picture of my right cheek.

The left cheek is worse but I didn't want to scare you off.

I stopped using this after 3 days and switched back to my Caudalie skincare line. My skin hasn't completely healed but it is getting better.

I wanted to love this serum, it held great promise for me.

Packaging: 9/10 (full size has a dropper)
Price: $44.50/30ml $67/50ml (I think Clinique is trying to increase their price point)
Results: 0/10 (Broke me out *tear*)
Scent and Texture: 9/10
Repurchase: No
Holy Grail: No

Have you ever tried this Clinque serum before? What are your thoughts?

  1. This is definitely something I'd want to try in terms of it improving skin's texture... but I have sensitive skin so seeing as that happened to you it would probably happen to me :(
I love your blog and am now following! Hope you would like to follow back?

  3. Wrinkle reduction on the face can be accomplished by following a daily schedule of skin caring regime.

  4. So it would seem that you need to increase the amount of collagen and elastin in your skin to reduce wrinkles and this is in fact the case.
